https://www.artmajeur.com/cecilia-vilas-boas“Reliefs” exhibition by Ana is about the freedom to create feelings through visual and tactile communication. My art is characterized by its reliefs, since I use recycled or reused materials that provide different textures and reliefs that contrast with the smooth, shiny surface of the epoxy resin painting. These characteristics create a depth to the work, conveying deep feelings and sensations to the viewer that go beyond the expected. The painting in vibrant summer colors brings a unique energy to the exhibition.
https://anamendesartist.pt/The painting "Lover Man", 40x30 , mixed technique on canvas, is a visual tribute to the timeless song by Billie Holiday, a crossroads between painting and music. In this work, Sao aims to capture the essence of desire and melancholy that permeate the music. The brushstrokes are soft and fluid, evoking the smoothness of Holiday's voice and the delicacy of her emotions.
